Tales and photographs from two autumn visits to the Tibetan plateau some years apart, looking for flowers, birds and other wildlife and some of the sweeping changes that have occurred there.
Stan de Prato is an entertaining speaker who will take us to look at the birds of Tibet, flowers and much more in this talk. Stan grew up in North Berwick before taking up a career in education. His spare time studies of song birds in the Lothians led to a Doctorate from Edinburgh University. Stan is a past president of the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club. £2 to members, £3 to non-members to cover hall hire. Photo by Dan - Imported from 500px (archived version) by the Archive Team.
